Children’s Ministries

NURSERY. We supply a clean and safe nursery for children infants – 2 years old during our Sunday School Hour, Sunday worship service, Wednesday evening Kid’s Club, and other special events at the church.
SUNDAY SCHOOL.  We provide age-appropriate Bible studies for children on Sunday mornings at Cornerstone, for children 3 years old through high school.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH. We provide age-appropriate Children’s Church on Sunday mornings at Cornerstone during the morning worship service. The children are able to worship with their parents and see them sing, pray, give, and read Scripture, and then children 3-5 years old are dismissed to Children’s Church just before the preaching begins.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR. Children’s Choir meets once a month (usually the second Sunday) during the preaching time. During this time, children learn songs to sing for programs or other special services and participate in an age-appropriate Bible lesson.
KID’S CLUB. Kid’s Club is our children’s Bible study and memory program which is offered on Wednesday nights at Cornerstone during the school year. Children enjoy game time, learn a Bible verse, and participate in an age-appropriate Bible lesson.

Student Ministries

The middle school and high school years are an important time in life. We want our teens to hear, understand, and receive the Gospel through the working and power of the Holy Spirit. We also want our teens to glorify God by applying the Gospel through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. The Cornerstone youth ministry desires to come alongside parents by ministering the Gospel to their teens, teaching them God’s Word, and assisting the parents to disciple their teens to follow Jesus. We endeavor to do this through many means, including Bible studies, missions trips, and youth events.
BIBLE STUDIES. Sunday School– We have a middle school and high school Bible study, Sundays at 9 am. The middle school (7th-8th grade) learns The New City Catechism. High School is currently studying the The Gospel Project – In the Beginning.
Crossover outreach and Bible Study – We meet Wednesdays at 6:30pm during the school year. We have game time along with a Bible study. This semester, we are studying Unity in the Church.
MISSION TRIPS. We emphasize missions in our youth group because we want to be used to fulfill the Great Commission and see Jesus glorified. We offer at least one mission trip a year. In the past we have ministered in Minneapolis and Chicago. Many teens from our youth group have also gone on missions trips with our church to South Africa and Honduras.
YOUTH EVENTS. Our youth activities are intended to reach beyond simply occupying our teens to a goal of glorifying God in each activity. We endeavor to accomplish this through the following: (1) Disciple teens to follow Jesus, (2) Serve others for the purpose of spreading the Gospel, and/or (3) Declare the Gospel through proclaiming God’s Word. As we disciple and evangelize, we have a great deal of fun along the way.

Adult Ministries

SUNDAY SCHOOL. Sunday School: Bible classes designed for adults to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word so that they may love and know God and care for and serve one another. This semester, January through May, we are studying the book of Matthew with teachers Joe Thomas and Brian Beamer.
WEDNESDAY LIFE GROUPS. The Men’s and Women’s Life Groups are meeting together this semester, January through May, with Rick Schelthelm teaching from the book, The Walk of Repentance by Steve Gallagher. During the last 20-30 minutes each week, the study group breaks into smaller groups for prayer time. This group meets 6:30-7:45pm in the church sanctuary.
